The 4th graders at the CUE learned about the Iditarod, which is a 1,049 mile sled dog race across Alaska. Before spring break, they received a visit from a local musher. The musher is the driver of a dogsled team. While this is something that he does for fun, the children loved seeing a real dog team in action.
